We hear it all the time, parenting is a journey.
As a mother of two, I can definitely relate to that sentiment. I understand the varying challenges that come with being a mother and the additional life roles we are responsible for.
I have worked with children and youth from ages 3-17 in both individual and family therapy. Providing direct mental health services to children and families has further influenced my commitment to helping mothers navigate personal and parenting challenges.
You, mama, are the core of the family, and do not have to go on this Journey alone. I am here to coach you on your Journey of motherhood and womanhood to help you move from barely surviving to thriving.

My coaching style incorporates my therapeutic training in child and family development and individual & family therapy.

The Journey coaching approaches motherhood as the core of the family system, allowing for a greater opportunity to recognize your significance in your family, in your community, and in the world.
My role is to help you see you as the highest version of yourself, which will then allow for you to navigate parenting hardships with more grounding, self-assuredness, peace, and grace.
Whether you are struggling with your own personal overwhelm, supporting your child through an unforeseen crisis, or simply looking for some positive parenting support I am here to help you.
Moms who are becoming gradually aware of their historic wounds seek out The Healing Mama Journey as a means to help with managing challenging emotions like anger, frustration, overwhelm. Some moms may need support in addressing past traumas.

Wherever you are, you are brave for noticing your own wounds and you will be met with tools and techniques to help you move through your healing journey to a gentler, patient parenting style.
Unfortunately, children experience unforeseen challenges that no parent is truly prepared for.
Mothers select the Navigating Crisis Journey when they learn of a tragic experience their child has endured such as abuse (physical, sexual, mental, or emotional), bullying, discrimination (race, gender, nationality, etc.), divorce, and others.
Coaching will consist of:
-
parenting prompts to have hard but necessary conversations with children
-
map out proactive interventions that align with the child’s best interests
-
and support for the parent (stay present, protect, and also navigate their own emotional responses to the tragic event or circumstance)
-
a family plan on how to reenter life after the crisis without retriggering or hyper fixating on the anxiety
Gentle parenting is a trending phenomenon but most are unsure of how to do it, and are often left feeling guilty when they “fail.”
Coaching with me will involve adequate education on gentle parenting:
step by step coaching on approaching:
-
routines
-
tantrums
-
meal times
-
transitions
This would be ideal for parents with children within the ages of 2 to 6.
